On 7 and 8 October, printers from the MWM community met at Rodi in Diemen, just outside Amsterdam, for KPI Days 2026. Two days on the numbers you run a press hall by, a tour of a working newspaper plant, and a dinner on the canals.
Which number do you look at first when a shift ends? Waste. OEE. Copies per hour. The gap between plan and actual.
Ask ten production managers and you get ten answers. That is exactly why we put them in one room.
Here are 85 seconds of what that looked like.
By the end of this you will know:
- which topics printers brought to the table this year
- what Print365 DatAInsights, launched on stage, can answer for you
- how Amedia Trykk thinks about running offset and digital side by side
- why a Print MIS/ERP vendor hands the microphone to its customers
Day one: the numbers you steer by
Dick Ranzijn, CEO of Rodi Group, opened the two days together with Daniel Lindmark, Managing Director of MWM Group, and Jan Aleite, Head of Sales & Marketing. Then straight to the figures.
Philip Pettersson, Head of Customer Success, took two sessions back to back. First KPIs, the new black: which figures are worth steering a plant by. Then OEE in practice, with the new dashboards in Data365 on screen.
Dick Eklund, Head of R&D, walked through the Print365 roadmap. What is coming, in which order, and the reasoning behind that order. Guests then voted on their own priorities. Daniel Lindmark followed with ESG.
In the evening the conversation moved onto the water, with a dinner cruise through Amsterdam's canals.
Day two: hybrid print, and the launch of Print365 DatAInsights
Morten Kringler, CEO of Amedia Trykk in Norway, took the stage on Thursday morning with the future of newspaper printing. What it means to combine traditional newspaper printing and digital printing on the same site, and what that does to flexibility and the operating model. If that question is on your table too, we looked at the wider European picture in Say yes to the titles your offset press has to turn down.
Then came the moment of the two days. Fredrik Sjölin, the architect behind Data365, launched Print365 DatAInsights, MWM's new AI service, and demonstrated it live in the session Talk to the Data. It is an AI specialised in print that also knows your own operation. You ask a question in plain language, and the answer comes straight from your own production data. The room gave it a standing ovation.

After that, the floor belonged to the guests. In How others work, printers shared how they run their own operations. In Meet a Geek, they put their questions directly to the people who build Print365.
After lunch Dick Ranzijn took everyone onto the production floor at Rodi. The afternoon closed with one to one meetings with the MWM team.
Why a Print MIS/ERP vendor runs a KPI event
Because a number pays off only when someone acts on it. Print365 collects the figures from press to invoice. KPI Days is where printers compare what they actually do with them.
That is why the format is peers first, product second. The best idea in the room often comes from the plant next door, and two days at a host's site lets you see it running in production.
Frequently asked questions
What is KPI Days?
KPI Days is MWM's customer event for printing operations that run Print365. Over two days, printers share how they work with their production figures, MWM presents product updates and the roadmap, and a host customer opens its plant for a guided tour. KPI Days 2026 took place on 7 and 8 October at Rodi in Diemen, near Amsterdam.
Who can attend KPI Days?
Invitations go to MWM customers. If you run a printing operation and want to hear how other printers work with their numbers, email Jan Aleite at jan.aleite@mwm.se.
What is OEE in printing?
OEE, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, shows how much of your planned press time turns into saleable copies at full speed. It multiplies three factors: availability, performance and quality. A press that runs every planned hour, at rated speed, with every copy saleable scores 100 percent.
Which KPIs matter most in newspaper printing?
The figures printers come back to most are OEE, waste, plan versus actual and cost per copy. Each one pays off when it is measured on every run and lands in the same system you plan and invoice in, which is the job of a Print MIS/ERP.
Bring your number to the conversation
Pick the one figure you look at first after a shift. Write down what it was last week, and what you would need to know to move it.
Then email Jan Aleite at jan.aleite@mwm.se and tell him which number it is. He will tell you how other printers in the MWM community work with it.
