Providing overview and control

MWM CopyTrack is a real time tracking system for the entire print production.

The system registers all waste types in the press and mailroom and reduces the number of overs as well as the number of extra prints, by automatically shutting down the press when the correct print run has been produced.

Overview and control
The module provides overview and control over all current jobs, which significantly improves the efficiency in printing, inserting, stacking and distribution processes. During production MWM CopyTrack displays number information such as number of approved copies, gross copies in the mailroom, net copies in the mailroom, waste in various production processes, total waste, etc. Production milestones are also registered, including start time, make-ready, print start, first approved copy, production end, stoppage times, etc.

Interface detail level depending on user
Production information is shown in the user interfaces, which are designed for the needs of the different users, enabling overview as well as detailed views. In order to minimize over-production, a function exists to shut the press off, manually or automatically, at exactly the right time.

All production data is stored in a database. The information can be used for reporting and analysis, and as input for management and business systems.
