MWM Inventory Management provides documented status – from unloading, via reel store and preparation to reel stand. Reports show when and how the paper has been used, feed problems or any wrong deliveries from the paper supplier. MWM Inventory Management increases printing efficiency through exact documentation.
Professional paper management
Reels are entered into MWM Inventory Management either by the system accepting electronic documentation from the mill and/or through barcodes when the reels arrive at the printing plant. The module manages several reel stores and all paper handling processes are monitored, including paper transfer from one reel store to another. Paper damage can be added at any time and provide the basis for reel returns.
The reels are registered as used when the barcode is scanned during or after production. For partly used reels, the operator enters the reel radius. A report of partly used reels can be printed out as a replacement for barcode labels on the wrapper (which have probably been removed).
MWM Inventory Management can also be used to track storage and consumption of ink and commercial printers’ use of pallets. The system can print out pallet labels.
