Booking information accessible to all
Information management is significantly rationalized by having booking information accessible to everyone involved in the process – from the newsroom and advertising department to the press hall, mailroom and dispatch. Making the booking information available to all involved reduces the need for faxes, e-mails and phone calls, thus minimizing the risk of errors.

Booking can be done years in advance
In the calendar, it is possible to book products several years in advance, which provides a good overview of the publishing of the main product as well as supplements (editorial as well as commercial). First, the main product publishing dates are booked, and this can be done far in advance. Preliminary pagination is entered at the time of booking, and this is then confirmed when the date of publication approaches. Similarly, supplements and inserts can be linked to the main products for specific publication days or time periods. A large amount of product information can be entered: pagination, paper format, paper grammage, distribution areas, and so on. The distribution areas for zoned products can be entered down to the level of delivery routes.

Management of supplements printed off-site
MWM Publishing Calendar also manages supplements printed off-site. Functions include user notifications of late arrivals of externally produced supplements.

Calculating bundle sizes
The module also provides information needed to calculate bundle sizes, through a key figure describing the total size of the main product, including supplements, on any given day. This figure can also be used to optimize transports. User-rights to see and book customer products can be set for each user.
