Managers have full control
MWM Distribution Manager is a tool providing full control of newspapers’ entire distribution. It includes functions for tracking of the transport stage as well as delivery routes.
Real time status changes
During production, MWM Distribution Manager continuously receives status messages from various systems when certain actions occur, e g mailroom systems and voice or text messages from drivers and delivery staff. Status changes are shown in real time in the system and can be seen by everyone who is logged in to it. Users can see e g whether transports are late or delivery staff has overslept – all based on the information fed to the system.
Text messages to delivery managers
The MWM module can also trigger activities in other modules, should things occur which require attention. It can e g instruct a text message server to send a message to a delivery manager about the fact that a member of his staff has not appeared for work on time.
Popular alarm list
With our popular alarm list – a function for managing deviations in the distribution – supervisors can manage a great number of delivery districts. The alarm list shows processes in the distribution which are not going to plan, such as a late departure from the printing plant or a delivery district needing a substitute, etc.
